Digital Doc View is a professional software solution for electronic document and records management. It provides facilities for storing all types of information, from scanned paper document images to electronic files, e-mails and e-mail attachments. All files are securely stored in their natural format and can be shared with other users once filled in Digital Doc View's document system.   • Document Scanning -It is now fast,easy and efficient to transfer all your paper documents into the computer system by today's high performance scanning devices. A scanner can be attached to the PC or can be shared by number of PCs in network. Digital Doc View allows users to scan documents directly from the software.It also allows to scan multiple documents in one go and if required user can group the related documents together. User can also import the existing electronic files on his computer into the Digital Dov View document system.
  • Filing - Once document has been scanned or imported user need to assign specific group (cabinet) to the document so that all the future retrieval of that document becomes simple and quicker. Different types of groups(cabinets) can be created from administrator screen for different categories. i.e. Client Names,Suppliers, Document Types like VAT,Invoices. Once filing is finished Digital Doc View's powerful OCR engine scans through all the scanned documents and generated text based information for each document to enable the system to search through the contents of documents.
  • Storage - Administrator can define the storage location for the documents in the system. The document storage location can be anywhere on network, on same computer as the Digital Doc View server is on or on external drives.
  • Security - The owner of the document and the administrator can set the security permission for each of the document seperately according the user groups. In this way user can restrict access to the document in certain way. They can define user groups which can access the document but they can not modify or delete it, user groups which can view and modify the document but can not delete it and user groups which have full control over the document. Now you know that your documents are totally secured against unauthorised access or lose.
  • Document Searching - It is quite easy to search a specific document based on few keywords with Digital Doc View's powerfull search engine. You can search for document's title or you can search for specific keywords within the contents of document. It is also possible to scan through all the cabinets or specific cabinet to make the retrieval faster.


Digital Doc View provides backup facility so that you can regularly backup your documents as a good measure against the threats of fire, flood and disasters. With Digital Doc View user can manually backup the documents or can set the schedule backup that runs on schedule time and automatically backup all the documets and their related information. Administrator can also archive the old documents and can retreive documents from archive when required. This helps in reducing storage space on main server and also makes the document retrieval faster.

It keeps record for each user acitivites for a strong audit trails. Users can add their comments to the document, can forward the documents to other users, can set the expiry time for each document that shows the document needs to be actioned by that date,user can check out the document so that no one else can modify it unless it has been checked in again, user can send the documents by email to the client directly from the Digital Doc View. Digital Doc View enables users to file any document by right clicking it without actually going to the Digital Doc View software. Which makes the filing of documents easier and quicker.
